That is one of the sweetest looking fish I have ever seen. I'd be on the phone with Lax. That is a fish of a hundred lifetimes!
Not only is she white, but she looks pretty big as well.

I was told a white tigers in the wild won't survive because it has no camouflage to stalk its prey, in this case it may not matter with muskies. Cool to see that fish survive.

Very cool fish. Definitely replica worthy. That fish is much more rare than catching a 50"er. Like Jerry said, I'd be on the phone with Lax or Fittante right now.

That fish doesn't look like its having problems eating, and is that a river I am seeing in the pics?

Very healthy looking fish.

That is very cool! I agree...call a taxidermist for a replica!!! Would you get a discount since not a whole lot of paint would be needed?! LOL!

I am fairly certain I know that river. Lot's of nice fish in there. Many inaccessable unless you have a john boat or canoe. That is one cool looking fish. Congrats!

How many other muskie fisherman will ever see a fish like that let alone get it to eat and have it be over 50!!! NICE!

That thing is awesome!

I would shat myself if it came in on the 8 in clear water!

It's a bit surprising that fish survived to be as old as it is. Lacking the camouflage pattern as a juvenile would put it at a severe disadvantage......... kind of like a white deer in a green forest.

From my googleing: Paul & Mike are friends and frequently fish together (as evidenced by their participation in musky tournaments together) and Paul is the one that caught the fish while Mike was there to see it? On the other post, notice it's signed "Paul".

Feel free to correct this Mike &/or Paul if anything is out of order.

First, I saw the pictures of this beautiful fish on this thread. Then I saw the story on the local news. Then I heard it on the radio. Then I read an article published from the WI DNR. Then I had mulitple newspaper articles emailed to me about this story.

Definitely an awesome fish. But now I feel sorry for you, as those areas of the Flambeau river are going to see some pressure. I wouldn't be surprised at all if this past weekend there were a record number of people fishing that river.

Definitely a fish of a lifetime! If your considering getting a replica made, you really owe it to yourself to at least check out Kevin Stenzel's work at www.stenzelfish.com

Some of the most beautiful fish painting I have ever seen. I believe he has also had the highest scoring replica fish in IL & WI state competitions the last couple years!

Guest,
Ummmm...it's a rare fish indeed, and the general muskie angling public won't go nutz dashing over there to try to catch one.

nice fish!

I know where another is hiding. Followed in but didn't eat. Hung around for quite a while. When she followed I thought it was a musky following in belly up...was something else...

I saw one like that on Eagle this past year. Big, about 52". We nicknamed her "blondie"...

Similar reaction to crawman on my part. "What the heck IS that?!"

No doubt it looks bigger than Spray's fish. Good to hear the hall is coming around. BR
