I have a Kenwood "music" stereo/cd player installed on my boat. Went out today and noticed that I am not getting any sound out of my speakers. Bought the boat last fall and has always worked, but all of a sudden there is no sound now. Everything else seems to be working on it, tunes into a station etc..... I checked the speaker wires and they looked fine, unhooked the harness and pulled the fuse, but still nothing..

Does anyone have any idea what might be going on here?

Thanks,
shaley

Shaley, I doubt it. I checked the manual and didn't see a way to mute or unmute, and I also hit the reset button a few times. Doing that as well as pulling the harness and fuse I would think would unmute if it was muted somehow. Also, I get no sound when I put a CD as well.

sounds like the radio had got some kind of moisture in it and may have burned up the amp inside of it.. i have had this happen to several of my marine radios...bill

Bill, that very well could be the problem.

Thanks,
