| Anyone have any idea why this unit will sometimes read my navionics chip then suddenly not on the same body of water. Is it something I'm doing wrong or do I need to send it in. It has all the current updates as well. Thanks Don | |

| I would double check to make sure you have the current upgrades. That is exactly how the HDS Unit will act without the current upgrade with a navionics chip.
If you are certain the upgrade is in place then it would likely be a defective chip. | |
