I never seem to hear much about this lake- I know there are muskies in it- goin camping there this weekend thought id give it a try just me and the wife- any info would be much appreciated- not lookin for your hot spot mainly launch and hazard type info along with a tip or 2 on what to use -please pm if you dont wanna post

I wouldn't waste your time going after muskie in Kosh. In my 30+ years of fishing it I have only heard of a handful of them being caught, and mainly by accident. Yahara chain is only ~35 minutes to the north and A LOT more fish in it.

Kosh is on average about 6' deep, give or take a couple of feet and pretty much void of any structure.

Was out on it last Saturday and I can tell you would not have a problem trolling and picking up small whitebass while trolling for walleyes. I actually gave up trying to catch any walleyes as they were a pain to keep off. Didn't seem to matter what bait you were using they were biting.

You may also want to know that this weekend is the opener of waterfowl season and there will be a ton of guys out hunting.
