Location: Ontario | Hey guys,
I began working with Bob at Just Encase some time ago to design a box that would suit my fishing needs. I believe the result turned out perfect!
I have a cottage where I do most of my fishing, but find myself lugging a lot of my gear back and forth because I also go out with buddies to other lakes and waters and always want to have my tackle with me. the problem is that sometimes I dont know where and when I am going so I end up lugging multiple boxes back and forth and it is a real pain and takes up a lot of room in the truck. I worked with Bob on designing a box that could hold the large 13-14" baits but not waste space when carrying the 5-7 inch ones.
I also wanted to have room for all terminal tackle, log book, pliers, bolt cutters, line, etc. This ended up being a little bit of a challenge for me, but with Bob's guidance, we came up with what I feel is the perfect solution.
Now, I am up in Canada, so I knew shipping was going to be a little high, but having one box instead of multiple was well worth it for me. I was also able to find a buddy who has an address just across the border so we shipped it there and I picked it up!
You can see from the pictures that 2/3 of the box have deep compartments for baits up to 14" and the 3rd on the right was broken up into 2 sections of 7" inch compartments. Bob also suggested a 4" drawer underneath the main section to hold all the accessories required when fishing.
I have attached some pictures and highly recommend Bob and Just Encase if you want an ultimate tackle box for your baits. As you can see, everything from the 2 tackle boxes and 1 soft bag are inside the 1 Just Encase box.
Awesome quality and awesome service. If anyone is thinking of working with Bob on a standard box or a custom one and have any doubts...dont! If you want to talk with me about Bob or his company before purchasing, please feel free to contact me.
Thanks guys, just thought I would share.
Matt

Location: Ontario | Hey LLS,
Thanks for the reply. I dont really feel this is the best place to discuss the prices of something I had custom made. I have seen enough posts of people trying to tell others how much they feel they should spend on items on this *and every other) forum. All I can say is that in my humble opinion, it was well worth the investment. For me, that is all that matters. I am sure some would be willing to spend way more and some way less, but it all comes down to personal preference.
I would suggest contacting Bob. He is willing to go that extra mile in order to ensure he gets you the best product for the best possible price. At the end of the day, you are the one to decide whther it is a fair price for you.
I hope I haven't come across as a jerk trying to withhold information, I just dont think this is the right place.
Thanks again,
Matt |

Location: Richfield, MN | I have seen a couple of his custom made boxes that people have asked him to create. They all were unbelievable!!!! Just like stated here the cost is nothing if it does everything that you need.
I was told that he also has done some custom jobs where it basically outlined the interior of the boat making the outer edge of the inside a tackle box in a U shape. I would love to see pics....ummmm... no I would love to see what it looks like in person.
One of the things that makes his boxes 2nd to none is you can see the contents from the outside!!! Looks awesome when you see all the different colors on all 5 sides!!! He has created a awesome box that should continue making him alot of money as people understand that this is one of those boxes one cannot live without.
I have started saving all my change and a few dollar bills in a jar and when it gets full I will be making a trip to have him create a custom box for me. AS of right now it kinda looks like the box posted here with some things a little different. As time goes by I know I will be changing the design on it myself as well.!!!!
