| Can I set a default so just the icon is displayed when I make a waypoint? I don't need the 001, 002 etc. on the screen along with the icon. I know I can set it for each waypoint but can I set a default for all waypoints? | |

| Yes.
When you get to the waypoint screen. you can choose the icon. you can also choose waypoint with a name or waypoint only. If you choose waypoint only the 001, 002 will not display. If you want to name or number the waypoint you will then have to go back and change the display to read icon and number. I do this all the time with my hds unit now. Works great.
