Are the items on the ashton board involved with the silent auction or are there some that are not.

DaveP,
About 2/3 of the baits/products that you see on the auction site were sold on the live auction.....BUT there are still alot of great baits and the such for auction on the SILENT AUCTION, which begins today, as soon as Sworrall, Cady or J_Smith can update it....and as soon as I can put in new items not listed, and put up the bait lots already created, etc....
Just a heads up for all, while I'm posting about how long the auctions will go silent:
1. bait/product lots: 7 days time
2. 1/2 day guide trips: 7 days time
3. Full day guide trips: 10 days time
4. Trips + Rick Krueger's Muskie School: 14 days

BBBBBRRRRRRIIIIINNNNNGGGGGGGGGG ON the bidddsss!!!!

Yup, I'm confused myself... Is it goign to be a new board, or will you delete the older items? I was jsut trying to go by date/time of last post, but it's listing everything as 8/23, even back to the 26" Ukko I wanted to bid on during the live auction but missed, so I'm pretty sure I can't go by that. All I ask is that you'd make it idiot-proof.[]

Make something idiot proof, and someone will make a better idiot.

Slamr, just let us know when you are done editing that section, and we will start to bid.

Any chance the sold items could be archived to a temporary sub-board or something so it's obvious and easy to see what's actually for auction? I guess it might be easy to see in a couple days when the acution items are more current than the old ones (assuming they get posts), but these I'm looking at lines and lines of items, some of which I know were sold in the live auction, and I was wondering how to tell what the break point was without having to examine every thread, old and new. (Looks like the break point is last post @ 9am this morning?) I just think that some stuff isn't gonna be getting the attention it should in the confusion. Thanks.

when do we know who won what? Last time there was a list, could be a good idea for this auction as well. I know you're swamped with work slamr so i'm just asking.

Divani, Cmunger: both good ideas, my Ashton Book is at my office, working tomorrow, will try to put a list up of what has been sold to whom.

What really needs to happen is to archive the threads that have already occurred (ie: auctioned off during the active auction) only the silent ones should be active. Or something like that.
