A sturgeon. Just in case it doesn't interest you too see one. This is a big one...really big.

The Frazier River is also the place where that photo keeps going around and around with that Sturgeon claiming its from the Rainy River.

The head is the size of an over-turned wheelbarrow.

Hi, the article states:

"White sturgeon — which can grow to 18 feet, 1,300 pounds and live 150 years"

Can someone post a link to a picture of the White Sturgeon that grew this large? I would be interested to see what it looks like!

Thanks

White Sturgeon is in second place, of what I would travel far to fish for, muskies, even tho Ive already done that, is in first place.

Here is a photo and description of the recognized White Sturgeon world record. However, there is still mention on the Internet of one caught twenty feet long and 1800 pounds, but no photos etc that I can find!

So the world record weighs 468 and this one was over 700. Doesn't that make it the new world record?

Nothing compared to the musky I lost this summer while fishing with my trusty Weagle!

Fished w/ Tom @ STS (guide in that pic) two years back in Mission... Great guy....
Super funny and laid back.

If i went back, I'd request him as a guide again.... Landed a 79"er that day, even though fishing reports from STS guiding SUCKED the whole week we in BC.... The day before, between all guide boats only 1 sturgeon was boated. We boated 6 in under an hour [hot spot], the rest of the day Nothing though... ahha
