Location: Wauwatosa, Wisconsin | I fish namakagon the last week of june every year. i love this lake, a lot of nice structure of all kinds. the best of my luck comes out of the northern part of the lake. sawmill bay, missonary point, and the waters around those areas would be the places to fish, lots of 10-15ft submerged weedlines. I've always wanted to fish this lake in fall, makes me want to get a trip going on around that time too. best of luck to you. |

Location: Indiana & Wisconsin | Mac, I am totally new to forums, so This is my first post ever! My hubby and i have a cabin on Namekagon, and have muskie fished for 25+ years. Last of October is my favorite time to fish this lake. Sucker bite should be excellent and the neat thing is you have a chance at a good size fish there, along with numbers. We should be up the last week to fish then also, hope to see you on the water. |

| Mac,
Just got back. Fishing was decent, but should pick up with colder temps coming. We got 4 fish, all on suckers working the break lines between 9-12 feet. There is so much good looking structure on this lake it is ridiculous. Key seemed to be structure with the wind blowing onto it. Raised one big fish on a Squirko, but that was all the action casting.
Suckers were available at Pastikas in Hayward, but you definitely want to call ahead. They were not available on the lake. Good luck. |

Location: Indiana & Wisconsin | Mac, ODK is right, Pastikas usually has suckers, Hayward Bait usually does too. Call ahead and sometimes Lakewoods has them at their marina and sometimes Loon Saloon carries suckers as well. If you are staying at Mogasheen the bait delivery truck visits on Thursdays and if you call ahead the folks there can buy and keep some suckers for you to pick up. I've been reading about the cloudy conditions on the lake. If it's the green floating "bloom" you are referring to, we've caught some of our biggest fish when it's at the worst, in fact I really like to see it, espescially on the bluebird-type days. Hope this helps. Leaving this coming Saturday and can't wait! |

| None of the places on the lake had suckers: Lakewoods, Loon Saloon, etc... Green bloom was there, but not horrible. |
