| Please pardon my ignorance, but what the heck are "show colors"? Are they lure colors and patterns produced just for the fun of it? Or are they colors and patterns which the maker really thinks will work on the fish? |

"show colors" are colors that you can ONLY get at the muskie/fishing shows. you wont be able to get them anywhere else. the bait maker only makes a certin amount and when they are gone there gone. hit a show or two this winter and you will see alot of "show color" baits, some can be real cool and might be just what you where looking for. and its nice to know that if it catchs fish that not to many other people got that color. |

| I would like to see ome different colors like purples and blues in the mix--lots of standard colors already out there. How about something like a purple perch---replace the green back with something purple or blue??? Just something different! |

| 100% natural perch. Take a look at photos of perch and copy that exactly.

Location: SE Wisconsin | Well, I'd say to take a look at the basement baits forum and check out some examples of serious works of art and imitate. I see some phenomenal show casings there.
CARP is a great custom color in just about any bait. I also think a CLEARWATER PERCH, a DARKWATER PERCH and a TANNIC WATER PERCH would be cool. Notice clear water perch, like in Lake Michegan are almost blue, while most regular lakes they are more green and yellow?
I'd also like to see more black and flourescent green lures come out. |
