| People have way to much money to spend, just to think about it 2 guys can come and fish with me for an entire month for what this lure is going to cost. Man that's a good number of 50in+ fish. [:sun:] |

| You have got to be kidding me! No fishing lure in the world is worth more than $8,000.. unless this is some sort of magical lure that guarentee's a muskie on every tenth cast! |

| Wifie and I watched a heddon 5 hooker go down on e-bay this winter for $15,500. If I could find one at those, at one of them yard sales she drags me to, I'd by me a double wide.[:p] |

| Dude, if ever you are out + see old baits, especially wooden/glass eyes, + can get them for a decent price at a yard sale etc, DO IT!!! Peeps go nuts over that stuff...about anything old peeps will buy. You could stick a bird house in a corn muffin + get triple figures for it on ebay! There are scads of old baits out there; when peeps pass away that used to fish, the spouse usually sticks it all out there + lets it go for a song. If I remember correctly, Whites + Luckys are 2 old bait books that give details + worth of old fishing stuff...reels, rods + basically anything to do w/ fishing commands big coinage. I sold approx. 75 -80 old baits 12 yrs ago for $400.00 bucks...I hate to even think what they are worth now! ***Bright side: at least these bait buyers are getting a return on their investment...us married dudes will ALWAYS PAY!!![:(] [;)] |

| I could see it now, whoever bought it takes it on vacation, throws it out to see it's action befoer putting it away and WHAM! Big fish, big thrash, broken line and 8100 down the tubes.[;)] |

"..so I am fishing for muskies, you see.. they are kind of like freshwater sharks; and I am throwing this lure with a whole lot of hooks on it. Yep I bought it on eBay along with a new yacht; when this giagantic fish attacks the lure. It had to have been at least eight feet long.. yep... and when I told the old cogger at the bait shop, he asked what kind of leader I was using. *laughs* My wife Trixie and I laughed and told him that I was an experieced outdoorsmen who didn't need a guide or what he refered to as a "Leader" when I am out fishing......" |
