i have used my jointed outcast strictly for casting ,with min time on the water
i noticed the other day that the tail part of the bait is coming undone. the screw is actually loose in the bait to the point of coming out if i hook a med fish
this bait has only hooked into 1 fish and might have 8 hrs total time casting

anyone else have this problem , better to check your bait.
it was purchased spring 2010.

what would the repair be ?? i like the action of the bait and the attention it gets so a repair is a must for me also the cost

thanks bob

Take the screw eye out, fill the hole with epoxy, re-insert screw eye, let epoxy cure. I did the same thing to mine, I doubt the tail section will be going anywhere anytime soon. Mine is an older model that's got a bit of water time. Wish I had the bucks to buy a few more and have them custom painted.

unscrew it partially, add Zap-a-gap super glue to the threads and rescrew. Make sure you get it straight cause it won't be moving again.
