OK, I have checked around a bit, does anyone make a nice magnum colorado blade in copper in the 9 ? I have tried Moore's, lurepartsonline, and jannsport.

Thanks.

I'd like to give an answer to this question. First these blades are not COLORADO. They ate MAGNUMS. Two companies make these blades. Worth, which makes a 8, 9 and 12 and Lakeland, a 9, 10 and 12. Both Worth's and Lakeland's 10 and 12 are basically the same size. The Worth 8 and Lakeland 9 are not. The #9 blade has never been a good blade as it never would spin very well on a straight shaft bait. It has a very different configuration than the 8, 10 and 12. We dropped this from our catalog years ago. Worth does not plate any copper blades. Lakeland has a plating compnay near them that does their plating. That is why we can offer their blades in copper and smoke. The #9 is available in copper. Just make sure you want the 9 and not the 8. If there is enough demand for the 8 in copper we will see about getting them plated. Hope his will be of some help.

An alternative purchasing copper plated blades is to paint nickle blades. I've had good success painting nickle blades with copper powder paint. There are many different types of powder paint available. I found a candy/metallic copper color that works well.
