Looking at a Crestliner 1850 dual console. Has anyone converted one to a single console?

i havent but i do believe that you can take the passenger side out and then it will look just like a single console.. you just might have the bolt holes there thats all. what year is the boat. i have a 98 1850 tournament sc but i believe that when you take the pass side console off it will be giving you more front deck

It's a 2005. I was hoping it would be that simple.
Thanks

Oh if only it was an alumacraft....I'd buy the second console from you.

I would like to put the second console in mine so when crossing the water with rain or bigger wave conditions, there is at least a little protection for a passenger (mainly my wife)...

I have an 03 1850 dual consol. Looking at it, all you have to do is unscrew or unbolt and take it out. I would advise against it, especially if your wife, kids or other fish with you much..Mine seems to still have plenty of room with it installed, and have had no complaints regarding fishability. Mine is staying.
