| Recent tournament on Bone and Deer Lakes. 37 boats on each lake for two days. Bone kicked butt on Deer. Lots of fish moving and biting. Sept. and Oct. will be terrific. |

| I fished both Deer and Bone for a week in mid July. Deer, which use to be a very good action lake with an occasional mid to uper 40" fish was very slow. only one fish was seen and a dink at that. I talked to a local bass fisherman who told me that he was out ice fishing the lake in early March and saw 46 muskies laying on the ice thanks to a few indian spearers. Yes 46 almost unbelievable. and that was only that one day. What a waste!! Anyone else know anything about this?? |
