| I figured I'd try the down east rod holders even if they were the single clamp model but I went to put them on my crestliner fish hawk and the darn clamps arn't wide enough !!! Not even for the transom !!! I need about another 1/4 inch at least ! I know theres a lot of crestliners out there how did all of you use down east rod holders ?? I'm really tired of my wimpy plastic holders stripping out !!! Thanks for letting me vent !!

| Ferd, if you had the double clamp ones you could clamp them onto your rear boat clamps. LOL I hope you know what I mean, those silver things bolted on your boat to tie onto the dock and such. LOL

| Ferd...I am not positive about this but I think the Down East S-10s can fit on a larger diameter transom than the single clamp D-10. Give Down East a call at (800) 553-7323 and they should be able to tell you for sure. |

another down east problem!!
