| I'm head to LOTW, I was wondering how the Navioncs HotMaps Premium 2009 North Chip will work. It says LOTW is covered with this chip, but how does it do on the North End up by Moore Bay, Pipestone Penninsula, Hay Island and Andrew Bay? I see there have been some posts on the topic, but most where on the area down by the Angle.

| Yes, it covers all the way up to Kenora. HOWEVER, it is not a "high definition" map with the 1 foot contours. They supposedly were going to finish mapping the rest of LOTW last year, but apparently that still has not been accomplished yet. Suspect money is the issue. It still has the data from the Canadian hydro map.

| Saint, they did not complete the entire lake. Generally the northern section where the OP said he is going is not mapped for HiDef, but it does have the Canadian hydro info.
