I have a couple manta's and for some reason the smaller pike seem to love them. When fishing for my limit of pike to take home I just snapped on my manta and had it in less than an hour. My brother has had similar experiences with his glide baits on a totally different lake. Just wondering if other people have had the same experience.

I think smaller fish have an easier time getting the bait. Big muskies like to eat them but seem to miss them more.

Of course, I have an old wooden char Magic Maker and that gets tons of pike. So many, I'm thinking one of these days, one going to have stripes!!!

They seem to like gliders I my boat too but their favorite would probably be pounder tails.

From my experience it just seems like they just love glide baits more. I've probably caught pike at a 3 to 1 ratio using glide baits than anything else, and I don't really throw them that much.
