| I just bought a Hairy Plopper from tackle industries and on the 6th cast the tail blade just flew cleanly right off?! Anyone else have this problem or was it a total fluke? |

I have only had 2 issues with any Hairy Ploppers to in the last 18 months and have sold abotu 1500 so far. Just curious why you would go to a chat board before coming to me with this issue. While I do not have a lot of problems with my tackle I think it is well know by most I will take care of any problem 110%.
OK-Now for the good stuff, email me at [email protected] with your full name & address and I will look up your invoice and get you taken care of. If you can, please send me a picture of the lure as it looks right now. Any pictures really help me evaluate the issue and make changes. Sometimes it is just a fluke. Can't sell over 100,000 lures a year and not have a few issues pop up.
Thanks and email me so I can get you taken care of.

Location: Land of the Musky | Yep, hit 100,000+ 2 years ago. Not hard when the big box stores start buying. I also sell a lot of the smaller lures out of my lure lines vs the large lures. Cross species sales help a lot vs musky only lures. Many more bass and walleye buyers out there. Sorry musky buyers Funny thing about my Hairy Plopper is that about half of those are sold to bass guys and they are running up some big numbers of big bass. That does a lot for the West coast bass sales. Still telling the wife though this is just a hobby. Nothing to worry about and I do not have a problem! 2 years ago I told her I just need to add 2-3 more lure lines and I am done. Told her last week I have 4 more lines that I am working on and then I am done plus the additional 12 rod lines for 2011

Location: Antioch, IL | If anyone spends just a little time on this site they will quickly see how good of a guy James is and that he always stands by his product. I have a few of his lures and they are as solid as anything I have in the box. Always one of the first in line to help a good cause, never has anything but encouraging words and constructive comments, gives a ton of valuable information to internet friends/strangers for nothing other than good conversation, and is always open about his business and really gives and inside view of what it takes to make a lure company work. |

Location: Land of the Musky | Thanks guys! Got him taken care of with a new lure. Sounds like this one may have not had cement on the threads holding the skirt on. Checked about 10 today and all had the cement on them so it was just one of those rare items in production you can not 100% track. But, you can take care of it if it gets to a customer
Thanks again,
James
