Looks pretty good, but I couldn't find anything on the board about it, the search function always times out and I get nothing.

Location: Anchorage | The stuff is phenomenal! Saw it at the Milwaukee show a couple years ago and I've used it in 15 lbs for pike fly leader material. No kinks, tough as anything on the market, and it doesn't even need to be tied, just twisted and melted together. To make a "super knot" tie and then melt. Definitely worth the money. |

Location: Wisconsin | I have used it. It is easy to use and it never failed. But it has a memory. If you bend it and hold it for a moment it will retain it. Just my thoughts. |

| I use this for fly fishing, and than it great. Even knotable. (30 lbs) for casting lures i use singlestrand leaders or fluor carbon. Not because i don't trust the tyger wire, but more of being used to. |

Location: Minneapolis | I love it. I use it almost exclusively on my muskie leaders for both casting and trolling. I like the 90# test. It does take a kink. The world's fair knot works well for holding and keeps the leader nice and straight.
It gives you the flexibility of fluoro (maybe even more flexible) without *any* chance of being cut by teeth.
With its plastic coating, it seems like it should be easier on fish that roll than any sort of uncoated wire, stranded or straight.
Lots of people say you can't use flexible leaders for glide baits or walk the dog surface baits. I do fine using Tyger. The very occasional fouling (no more than with solid wire, imho) is easily worth not having the leader kinked to oblivion by every hammer handle pike that whacks my lure. |

Be specific in your search as to dates, and search one board at a time. if you use the search function correctly, it works very well. |

| I like to use Tyger for jig leaders. Works well and is easy to tie. I'll often fish jigs on a bass flippin stick with 50 lb Masterbraid and a 50 lb Tyger leader. |

Me too! I find it indispensible when fishing for pike and muskie on the fly! I like that as much as chucking our big rods/baits.
Great leader mat'l. that I couldn't do w/o.

You don,t neccesarily have to melt it. For the loop to loop connection to the nylon leader i use the perfection loop. [url]http://www.netknots.com/html/perfection_loop.html
for connecting the fly just use a jam knot.

if you change flies, just cut of the jamming knot and use this as the first overhand knot.
