| I can't get even a pike to hit a Erine on the lakes that I fish.As much as the fish goes for bagley's db-06's,I thought an Erine would kick butt.Maybe it's the way I use it or maybe they just don't like the lure.Any Suggestion beside shipping 'em to anybody. [] DennisBlume |

| Dennis,
First, it could be that the Ernie has rattles and the Bagley does not. The fish in YOUR lake might not like the sound. Second, the Ernie has a tighter wiggle and the Bagley has more tail action and roll. This might also be the difference for you.
About the only thing I can recommend is to start fishing your Ernies like Jerkbaits and don't just reel 'em in. Personally, I favor the 8 incher.... but he 6 incher darts around pretty good too.

| Hi,
Buy Pete Mania's tape on how to work his baits it is well worth the money. The tape is very funny also! All I can say is " holy cow" it's funny! (you will get the joke after you watch the tape)
Thanks,
Don |

| Must be nice, you make baits and sell them, then you make a tape on how to use your baits and sell that too!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm in the wrong business!!!![;)] |

| Hi Ralph,
When you going to come out with some lures and how to tapes? (haha)
Yes, Pete does a good job marketing his lures and stuff, but there good products. But the way I look at it is if you had to pay him or another good guide for all the information on a tape it would cost a heck of a lot more than $20 dollars that the tape cost. Just my 2 cents!
Have a good fishing season.
Thanks,
Don |

| The Ernie is a born rock bouncer and weed contacter....It can be easily outperformed swimming free in the water column by many baits -including the Bagleys. Structural contact and an erractic retreive have worked well for me with this bait.Just an opinion |
