Can any of you Ranger guys tell me what 'road armor' is? I have seen it in the boat adds section.

Thanks, Bob

The best way to describe it is like a thin coat of Line-x or undercoating on the trailer. Not nearly as thick as either, but serving the same purpose. Helps prevent rust from rock chips and salt.

There's got to be one "redneck kindered spirit" out there that has taken a gallon of "do it yourself" bedliner and painted up his boat trailer. I would like to know how that worked out. The trailers that have "road armor" or other names are very very nice. The fact that most of the trailers have little to no primer on them before painting doesn't help either. This is a good option, not sure I like the extra weight but I think it comes with the territory.
