In the next few days I'll be up on Delavan lake fishing for pike and walleye with my nephew and brother. I've heard it gets a lot of boat traffic on the weekends. I figured we'd throw jigging spoons to deep weed lines and maybe some spinnerbaits along with it for the pike. We don't really know anything about the walleye. Any tips would be appreciated, thanks.

Trolling shad raps is a productive way of putting eyes in your boat. Troll along the rock wall near the public launch

Thanks for the tips. We only made a few passes at trolling and then went to fishing for bluegills. It sure is a good looking lake though. Is the boat launch always a circus there? We had to wait in line for over 20 minutes just to load the boat.
