You should get your first!
I fished out of Red Wing several years in a row, good folks and a nice resort. Fish any weeds you find, hit the reefs and points, and any reeds you see itch a spinnerbait at them. Little sand beaches in small bays with a rim of weeds can be good. Rock reefs surrounded by deeper water, and rock walls leading into bays...fish the broken rock and big cracks in the wall, usually there is some rubble under the crack. Cast to any trees, little points of rock, or any irregularity in the rock. Toss smaller 4" cranks at the walls (make sure the hooks will hold a good muskie), we've had seriously good days fishing that pattern.
