| Is there a way you or a site you can find out water temps in a general area, for example Rice Lake Area or Hayward Area etc.? Thanks, Al | |

| I don't know of anyplace in that area that would give you more than a surface temperature at best, and that does not really tell the story of the temp profile, it can be very missleading. You need to make connections with a guide or resident fisherman to follow temps with any accuracy.
Down here some of the Corps lakes post temp profiles, Cave Run being a specific example, and I can generalize a little for the lakes around the state. But considering some lakes are striper fisheries, and some trout fisheries, along with one story deadzone lakes like Cave, you are only getting a ballpark figure for upper water stratums. | |

Location: Hayward, WI | You could just ask guys here, lol. I was on an approx 800 acre, relatively clear lake this weekend that was a little south of Hayward. Temps were in the upper 70s on Saturday, around 80 Sunday afternoon, and just under 80 yesterday evening after work.
We're getting a pretty decent storm with quite a bit of rain in Stone Lake now, so I imagine that will drop the temps a couple degrees for a day or two. With the fairly warm weather this week, I would guess small to mid size lakes in the Hayward area to be in the upper 70s to low 80s and bigger clear lakes to be in the mid to upper 70s.
