Fished for 3 hours on Saturday morning from 5:45 to 8:45 without anything to show. Need to break the slump right about now. I'd take a fingerling to get me back in the game!

introduced the sport to my gf saturday and sunday and had action from 4 fish with nothing hitting the net. she did a great job casting and loved it ... looks like i've got a new fishing buddy. hearing the expletives when a mid 40's came in behind her jointed raider was great and almost like catching a pb after it was over with. she's hooked ...

Weekend was poor, BUT Tuesday was ON! Had a two fish day--both on the Livid Fish--both working it as a jerk bait over deep submerged weeds. The 39.5" was on a black Livid and the 47 was on a walleye Livid. Had a few other follows and saw several surface throughout the day. They seemed hungry!

W Temps are high in Illinois. You gotta get out early am til 9 am. temps are 79-82, after that they raise fast.
