Anyone use this setup and find it decent for pulling double 10's,etc?? Not looking for another suggestions on reels for blades, seen enough of that.Just considering ordering a handle for one of my 400's and wanted some feedback.Thanks..

I've used the exact setup for pulling dbl 10s. It works fine for a regular retrieve but not so much if your looking to really put the speed to the blades. The 400b with powerhandle is my favorite all around reel.

That is what I use, and works good for me. I do not burn them in, and I make sure I am in good position to cut down any other drag while reeling in.

I have 2 older versions that were the 4:7 gear ratio to my memory. I have had them about 10 years, so hard to remember exactly, but so far go good.

I use and love this set up for smaller blades and cranks, but I don't like it for 10's. As stated above you can't burn them in and 10's make this reel work too hard in general.

No HEG gearing on the B which makes a big difference pulling blades. That being said, I used a B with Power Handle last year for big rubber and it's been bulletproof. Had some issues with TE's but not the B. That thing is still as tight as the day I put it on the rod.
