| After you read these threads, the best thing to do is contact Dan Moats himself. He can whip up a couple special tails in a snap based on what you are looking for (weight, colors, mixing blades and sizes, etc.). If you have visited the website, you've probably seen the lake packs based on past knowledge and fish preferences, but they can do pretty much anything you want. The Spanky Baits guys love what they do and will try to do what they can in an effort to help you catch more fish. |

Location: Yahara River Chain | I will also add to what was said about contacting Dan Moats. The 1st time I meet Moasty was at the dock on Eagle @ AML. So he knows Eagle Lake and what colors they like to eat. It probably has varied a little bit over the yrs, but I'm guessing not much. I remember once that black blades were the ticket and some guys had a rock outside their cabin covered with overspray from painting blades all black.
Also you can check out the AML web site and guys are always giving clues there as well as Herbie. If you don't find it, don't be afraid to contact Herbie as well. |

| Spankys are very well built baits and catch alot of big fish everywhere.
They will be available at Dorn's in Madison very soon if not already. Or Dan will make you any color you can dream up. At Spankybaits.com

Location: New Brighton, MN | Spanky has my vote for some of the best bucktails out there... and for a good price. Heavy gauge wire. nice strong blades, good tinsel. Very solid bucktails that run true. |

Location: Muskegon Michigan | Awesome Lures if you ask me. I hated double 10 bucktails until we fished several Spanky baits on St. Clair. Well built and hey , the wife got 55 inch monster on one last week. I give them a two thumbs up ,Mike |
