Slamr and I will be splitting the items up and getting them ready for the auction! Large items will be featured in a week long "silent" auction on the Ashton Board and the single items will be auctioned "Live" in the chat room on Tuesday night at 7:00 pm! | We are going to try to arrange the affair such that the night of the 20th flows smoothly and the manner in which it is done is "user friendly". | Well for one we should have someone that can moderate the room so if anyone comes in and is causing trouble they can give them the boot. I know a few times this year some people came in and pissed off the person givin the chat. I would hate to see someone come in and turn people off from the auction. |

| I will be in Ontario next week, leaving this friday night and returning sat evening the 24th. Thus I won't be able to participate in the chat auction. What are the things that will be auctioned off in the chat room? When will the week long items expire, will I still have time to get a bid in for these?
Is it possible to place a "silent" or "unattended" bid before I go for the chat room auction?? If so, I'll need the list of items before hand.

| Ok, here is a preliminary count and plan for what is on the auction block....details to hammered out by Sunday on exactly how things are to be split up.
I. Baits - (about) 185....going to be split up into larger groups than just singly (except for rare, unusual and hard to find baits), and not going to be massive all in one lots (20 bugsys or 10 mantas, etc)
*and we will be creating "packs" for jerkbaits, bucktails, cranks, etc.
II. 1/2 Day Guide Dates - 7....will be auctioned off the night of, might hold one or 2 out for the longer week + long silent auctions to be run on site in the Ashton Forum
III. Full Day Guide Dates - 14....all but maybe one or 2 will run in the Ashton Forum for a week+
IV. Rods - 2 Custom Avids....1 will be sold singly, one will be in a package deal (rod/reel, line, baits, leaders)
V. Around 20 leaders
VI. 2 Nets - One beckman, one Frabil and a Frabill lure retriever, all the night of the 20th
VII. 2 Tackleboxes - by Trinity Industries and by Lakewood....one will be auctioned off the night of the 20th, one will be a part of another week long lot
VIII. Misc: hats, can coolers, shirts, a book from Dick Pearson (signed) spools of line from Tuff-Line (150yards, 80lb?) and 4 rod holders...some will be integrated into larger lots, some will be sold singly...
We WILL firm this up by the end of the weekend, but I hope this gives a better idea of what and how...and about how DESPERATELY we need to get the word OUT about the auction....people might have amazingly been TOO generous!!! | Is there a list of what is going up tonight, and what will be in the week long section? My wife and I are going to go look at a new vehicle tonight, and I probably won't be able to get on to the chat room until after 10 PM.

Read up on this thread, that gives you a pretty idea of what will be auctioned off tonight. Going to TRY to formulate the larger bait lots and have them up on site by 5PM tonight, but can't make any promises just yet.
