| I m still a rookie and still feel like stupid when it come to Muskie fishing. Would like to get out with experienced angler so I can learn more about boat control, baits selections, spot to hit and etc. And yes I had hired few guides in past but doesn't feel like enough for me and have luke Ronnestrand and Ty Sennett trip this fall.
I live in north metro and will to drive up to 60 miles to fish. Mn and west wi. Thanks

Location: Baltimore, MD | You should get a lot out of fishing with Luke, that dude has a wealth of knowledge and can fish the hell out of muskies. I was at Muskie Bay Resort in Ontario the week after he was there and the owner told me he caught 20 fish over 40", including a 50" on an oligotrophic lake that has gin-clear water. Not too shabby |

Location: Duluth, MN | I've been at musky bay the same week as Luke and his group for a few years now. All I can say is a hell of a musky fisherman and an all around great Guy. Willing to talk and listen. Not afraid to share what's working for him. I've learned a ton Just the last couple years.
For the record we were number 2 in camp this year with 19 muskies for the week, largest was 48.75"
Now ya got me drooling for next year! |

| Consider going to one of the musky schools.

| I am member of north metro Muskie inc. I do fish league lil bit. Ain't even worth going to meeting without interperter even muskies inc org top people wld never answer my emails about interperter part.. So seminars, meeting, musky school wldnt do any good to me.
Yes I know I have Luke but that ain't til late aug.. I learn better from hand on than books, mags, forums, and articles. |

| I learned most of what I know by magazines and TV shows. I did a quick search for you and found the following guides worth considering:
http://www.scottkieper.com/
http://www.pikeboy.com/
They both have some assistance for hearing impaired (though I am not sure how much). The "pikeboy" is predominantly pike, but Delevan lake has musky and the techniques for pike are similar to musky.
