Location: Home of the 2016 World Series Champion Cubs | Word spreading in illinois is thay IDOT on jul 1 has implmented radar cameras in work zones with zero tollerance. 45 mph means 45mph. +1 mph=-$375 first offense.

| That's right sports fans-----radar cams in place!!! A guy I know got caught doing 54 in a 45mph---his fine was $745.00-----ouch, that stings alittle!!! So, be careful going through the roadwork zones----construction up north was pretty light some stuff in Northern WI---and a litlle in Duluth MN----otherwise it was a nice ride all the way to the International Falls border crossing. Safe drives to everyone----Pat Elza |

| Dave,
I went up to Haward a couple of weeks ago. You may want to check if the construction coming up the 90/94 split has stopped. I was in very heavy traffic and saw a couple near wrecks from the dells on up to that junction, and the 10 mile stretch before the junction took an hour. That was on a Friday afternoon so I suppose that is the worst day and time, but it was bad enough to drive around it if the construction is going on.
The I-39 construction in IL seems to be over so that should be smooth sailing up to Madison.
Good luck |
