The muskie bite has been nothing short of fantastic in the past 4 days. Fish are finally biting bucktails well and are starting to spread out. They had seemed to be concentrating in small areas, moving in and out, but are now getting in a more summer like pattern. Water temps are coming up nicely again, with fairly hot weather possible this upcoming 4th of July weekend, it should only get better. Weeds are producing some day and night, rocks have begun to kick in much better but mostly in the evenings or with some wind which has been either strong or calm, can't seem to make up its mind. Topwaters are still getting some action, and the trolling bite has kicked in even better, there are massive amounts of forage to be found on the West End right now, and the big pike and even bigger muskies are definitely chowing on it over open water! Shallow running baits near the surface are working best, big rubber can get some trolling bites also.

Saturday was a 3 fish evening, with a father/son combo each getting one and Jeremy getting in for one also. Another guest boated a 50.25 with Jeremy on Sunday evening, and Tuesday night was yet another 3 fish evening with the biggest at 49.5 inches. I'd love to post a few of the better pics for all to see, but for some reason that appears to not be working?
