| I didn't want to say anything to Steve, Shep, Paul, Mike or the Jackleys at Bone Lake, but I noticed that ALL of their killer fishing boats share a fairly significant flaw. None of those boats' operating systems relied on either duct tape or bungie cords. | |

| Ranger- Haa, Haaa! You've overlooked the secret emergency compartment, i.e., the one with the emergency supply of duct tape and bungee cords. These compartments are frequently so well camouflaged that the owner's don't even know where they are. The next time you see one of these boats, salute the manufacturer's ability to hide such necessary boating/fishing tools from the prying eye's of the public.....

| I too have a secret compartment for such items as duct tape and zip ties in my Tuffy. But dont ask me were they are when I need them.[;)] [:)] | |

| Ranger, maybe that explains why I can't get a muskie in the boat! I will have to put a roll of duct tape, a few bunge cords, and some bailing wire in it before I hit the water next weekend.Good Luck to all,Paul | |

| I'm not sure if having these secret compartments or bringing some tape along for luck is the answer. I think to get full mojo credit you must actually be using the duct tape and/or bungie cord to make your boat work. For example, I have duct tape, electrical tape, and a mini bungie holding my little homemade fuse/switch box together. Without the repairs, the entire electrical system goes down. So see how I get full mojo credit?
I'm not sure about all of this, but I think I'm on the trail of one of those fundemental truths. I bet the answer lies within a rerun of the Red Green show. Some research is in order. | |
