I love weagles at dusk and have done pretty well, but when it gets dark I usually switch to an inline topwater like a globe or lowrider. I thought muskies would be more likely to miss a weagle when it is completely black. Am I way off base on this? I know becouse of the walk the dog retrieve you are going to have a few more misses anyway. Thoughts?

You are correct you will have a few more misses after dark. I have found if you work is slower, make the pause at least a second or more you will have success.

I've had a weagle for two years. It has been one of my top producers. I didn't start using them after dark until this year. I thought the fish would have a hard time getting it. Boy was I wrong, if they want it they will get it. You will still have misses. After dark the weagle is about all I throw! In my experience when the water is 55-70 degrees the weagle should be illegal!!!!!!
