| First lures since last August. I was rejected for injections because there is too much arthritis in my lower back, but adding one new med and changing another seems to have really helped. That and finding a very understanding girlfriend who also suffers from chronic pain. She's put a smile back on my face. Now I have to make all of the pieces of wood in my garage into gliders. I have 5 different styles, and am bringing back The Castor and The Perkette. The Castor is made out of maple this time and The Perkettes are 1" thick instead of 3/4. I also have a small batch of Perkettes in CA Redwood that I'm just going to weight and clear-coat and they will bee an awesome Tan Perch Gift from God. A few new styles too, but testing is in progress. I hope the new meds keep up the good work and I'll be posting pics soon. Good to be back....sort of.

| Michael, I made the Perkettes 1" wide instead of 3/4" because that was the best wood that I could get. And don't expect them to look like they came out of a laser cutting machine. I have much to learn about woodworking. |

| 5 more today, but alas, that's too much too soon. I never thought that I could be in such pain from painting lures. I need a more ergonomic set up. Besides that, it's still cold in the basement so the E-Tex is the consistency of lard. Sitting on an ice fishing bucket doing 10 at a time probably isn't the best idea either.
I don't care....I'm painting lures!
A bunch of new kolors because House of Kolor came out with 6 different shades of pearl and a bunch of other new kolors. Those guys must read my mind......green pearl....blue pearl.....silver pearl.....gold pearl.......aqua green blue pearl......Pretty |

Location: Ogden, Ut | Sounds like a lot of the news is good for a change - don't push it. You know what torture your back has already endured, so go slow. Glad to hear you are able to paint a few again anyway. Take care.
