I have about a dozen or so 7/0 hooks i would like to T. Using them with rubber.
Any tips on T'ing hooks, anything easier then just using pliers? I have about a dozen or so to do and having a hard time getting them to the "T".

Thanks

Scottith.

I use a set of vise grips to hold the hook at the eye and than I use a set of linesmans to bend the hooks where I want them.

I use a vise to hold hook and lug pliers to slowly do the bends. Takes about a min per hook once you get it going right.

As the head of the lure faces away from you, I like to have the welded hook going to the left. Seems the hooks lay flatter against the body and the hook loses the "rudder effect".
