Mark Rogers (California_Muskie) finally made good on his threats to visit Utah for more than 4 hours at a time. We had a fun day yesterday fighting uncharacteristic winds in search of a tiger (or not??). The fish certainly were making themselves visible, to the point of being annoying. Finally after about 15 follows, a couple hooked and lost fish and some semi-airball strikes, we managed to get one all the way to the net. Mark can now no longer keep telling me, "I've never even caught a tiger muskie". Congrats on your first.
Now that your first is out of the way, hopefully this afternoon we can stick a big one!

Location: Warroad, Mn | Great work, beautiful fish and countryside. Now I need to get the California Guy to the LOTWs to catch an Ontario muskie. Again he's says he interested, but never quite shows up. Hope we can change that someday. Doug Johnson |

Location: Ontario, California | Many thanks again Sorno... I was as excited to catch that little dude as I was catching my first pure. I fully expect the baits I left you to do some serious damage. I'll be looking for the pictures of the 42 that was kissing it today. I forgot to mention that I'll be back at that account next month. Might 'need' to extend that trip by a day or 3.
M'Nut... Yeah I'm down about 50 pounds since you saw me. Even ran a half marathon Sunday. Still using reels with the handles on the correct side though.

LOL. Just one more question. Who you running from or should I say after???
Again congrats on both fronts. As always you have an invite here as well. But personally I like what DJ has offered better. However I did hear of a couple of more 50s taken this here on the Yahara Chain already this year.

The pleasure was all mine. Glad you were able to endure the crowds we had to put up with. Next month looks pretty open - your spot is reserved. Perhaps the fish will turn from window shopping to purchasing. Cowards. Hopefully, I'll still have those lures - my boys were lobbying pretty hard!
