Today while tossing a pacemaker with my 6600 the levelwind went out. I know it's not the ideal reel for muskie fishing but I'm not financially able to buy a new saltist or Calcutta. I searched the forums for other Abu repair problems but the search failed. Has anyone on here ever repaired a levelwind before? If so, where do you order parts for them? Are they easy to repair? Thanks for any and all help!

Send it back to Abu and most likely they will fix it for free (my experiences with them). Or you can purchase a pawl and worm gear for it and fix it yourself. Call them and tell them what reel you have and they will get you the parts for it. The web site is www.abu-garcia.com

like muskienut said - pawl and worm gear - easy to replace. Keep it well oiled and you may not have that problem in the future.

Most Abu reels use the same pawl. If you're an abu guy, it's not a bad idea to keep a spare in the boat.
