Location: Warroad, Mn | Midge: Haven't fished out of Nestor Falls, but have been close many times. My feeling is that the fishing out of Morson is equal to what I see at the Angle, and maybe better at times as there's less pressure during prime times. There seems to be as many fish and as many big fish, and lots of spots with more weed growth (not as many Rusties). I don't fish Sabaskong it's self as much as west of there. Water color and spots are very similar. You'll probably run into algae in either the Angle or the Sabaskong area in September. You can still catch fish, but you may have to run at times to find clean water. Been fishing Whitefish also for many years and my feeling there is that it's improving quite rapidly. Ten-fifteen years ago muskies where hard to find in Whitefish, but that no longer seems to be a problem. Very little pressure and clear water. You need better conditions to score, but it's fun in September if things are right. Done all of that a lot! Doug J
