| I am hoping somebody may know the answer to this problem, My 60 HP Mercury starts up great and has High Rpms in Nuetral only..You can Rev the motor to 4000 Rpm if you wanted to, However each Time I put the motor in Gear it has No High Rpms, and just runs at low speed like it was at 1/5 throttle....Help Someone Please. Thanks Mike. New Fuel with startron did not work.... |

Location: north central wisconsin | check to be sure all of your spark plugs are connected properly. Sounds stupid, but can cause those conditions. |

Location: In a shack in the woods | It's a different brand but my Suzuki did that and it was the cdi. |

| What happens when you put it in reverse I have a 20 mercury that does the same thing , but it also runs fine in reverse just not forward . I havent been able to figure it out |
