| I used to throw Top Raiders almost exclusively. Then we discovered something on LOTW a few years ago that made me switch to the Magnum TopWalker.
If you figure 8 the Top Raider the fish won't go into the 8. If you figure 8 a Top Walker, because the tail looks like a bucktail, the fish will figure 8.
Because of the reason, I throw the Top Walker mostly now. |

Location: Northern Wisconsin | I had a fish follow the top raider a couple time on the 8 and as soon as I submerged the lure the fish struck. I have a top walker and don't use it very much, it doesn't seem to make much noise at all. |

| Topraiders have the best triggering sound in my opinion, but I hate that it isn't thru-wire. They can (and unfortunately have) broken in half on big fish. Because of that, I voted for the chopper, although it tosses more water and doesn't 'pop' like a raider. Thinking of trying a pacemaker and whacking that 2nd hook to shut it up a bit. I'm not a fan of wood ones for a few reasons... |

| Hey Guys,
There are many prop baits out there. My favorites are the Pacemaker and Tidal
Wave by Lee Tauchen. I'm also am looking forward trying out the knew Water Chopper HD this summer. |

Location: Minnetonka | Musky Buster LOW Rider, because it's the only prop bait I throw. For the small, small time period that I spend throwing top waters every year, I don't afford myself the wasted time on other baits and/or imitations. I know the LOW Rider makes the right noise to catch muskies. Black, tiger or lace pattern.

Location: WI | Pacemaker. Starting to like the Headbanger, just not used to reeling in a topwater that quickly yet. Not a topraider fan as mine broke (internal weight) without having even caught a fish. |

| With topraiders, seems for me that fish either eat, or don't. When I try to F8 above water, sometimes they'll hit but usually they're gone or have been hooked by that point. But if they're still there, and I go subsurface with the lure, its like someone hits them with a cattle prod and they're gone and forgotten before you can blink. IMMEDIATE turn off for whatever reason from what I've experienced.
