Has anybody used one for d-10's? Wondering if they load up on the figure 8? I am comparing the stats between that rod and the 8' heavy from St. Croix and with the exception of the length I can't see a whole lot of difference. I would think that the extra guides would speed it up a bit but I am looking for input if possible. I am looking for some perfect D-10 rods and don't want to wait for the xh to become available so I would settle for the mh if they'll work. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Maverick

I'm not sure about the mh, but my buddy has the xh and it is really awesome for the price, especially with the longer handle. My thoughts, just guessing is that the mh might load up to much for big blades???

I've got the XH (Mag-Heavy) that I use for 10's and 13's - no problem.
I'd guess the MH might be a bit light...?

I use the TI 9' and 8' Mega XXH for everything but I like a stiffer rod myself.
