Where you headed this weekend to stick steel to a Muskie?

Work here until evening each day, then maybe a walleye or 4.

I'm on Pewaukee both days.
Sunday both of my kids are fishing a funraising tournament with me, Fishers of Men, which is run by the Wisconsin Lutheran High School Science Department. It is a good time for a good cause.
With my son living out of town and kid's schedules now a days, getting both in the boat at one time happens all too seldom. Catching a muskie will be a bonus!

Looking at hiring a farmer to come haybine my yard, then bale it... Have not been able to mow, so I have a feeling it will be a yard-work weekend...

Not quite sure yet but I'm probably not going to chase muskies - still a bit weak in the shoulder. I have a mid-week trip planned for next week for work that may entail a bit of casting for muskies, but I seriously doubt I'll spend more than an hour or so casting.
This weekend I'm toying w/ the idea of trolling for some kokanee salmon, or maybe walleyes.

A week of chasing walleyes for me to celebrate long time friendships and the Michigan opener. Nothing like sitting in the boat sharing 40 degree temps, high winds and soaking rain with your best fishing buds. Been fishing with one for 46 years and the other a paltry 34 years and they both like walleyes best. What do they say, misery loves company? But the thoughts of a 3 foot walleye keep coming back. Gotta have one to get ahead in the bragging game with my friends. They have 33"ers so I want to set the bar a few notches higher.

My musky stuff is still a spider dormatory, but that will change soon, just a few more weeks and the big slimers will be in for it. Then I can do what I like best. Wormsuckers, phooie!

Babcock Park on Waubesa is home base 16th-20th.

Look for a black Lund 1650 Angler SS with F80 Yamaha near the host site. Stop by for a cold Leinies by the campfire.

Bass and walleyes in Vilas. Here's a pic from shorefishing after work with my brother and some buddies last week. Check out the water level, the lake used to be over the pier every year in the spring. Ouch!

Fishing a benefit for Wisconsin Lutheran High School on Pewaukee on Sunday. Church on the water and then some musky fishing, should be a blast.
