| Have fished the lake many times---Musky are present and some nice fish in the 45 inch range in there--lots of smaller stuff also. Pike are small as in almost all the lakes up there 24" would be a good one. Good walleye lake--mostly 13-16 inch range fish but I have caught a couple nice ones also. Pretty lake--lots of shoreline and rock structure---I have never stayed there--only day fished it. Good Luck |

| Fairly dark water, with weeds to about 6 feet, and some extensive weed beds in flat areas. Smaller lake, with the main structure comprised of the weedline. Deeper water off the weedlines if you want to try it, and there could be a potential for deep divers or jigs and plastic, and some rocks, mostly deeper. Night fishing here(and I didn't stay to night fish) should yield bass and musky and potentially walleye also, if you are using quieter baits. This lake is small enough where the fish could easily be found suspended, and also probably pile up in steady winds.
Pleasant enough lake, good boat landing, and should be able to fish even in wind, at any time, also should be easy to night fish. I am also guessing that you could have some fun, mixed bag panfishing available on the weedbeds in the evening, particularly with the lake's mix of bass, crappie and walleye, probably all using them to feed. Seemed like there were also some cribs in there if I remember correctly. You probably have a better chance of getting a hybrid of some size, than a northern that would stretch into the upper 20 inch range. |

| There is a little tavern just South of Pine Lake Lodge that a young couple had just purchased at the time I stayed there (3 years ago). Good place to stop for a beer, lunch and relax. Can't remember the name now. Also, stay away from Hurley ;>). |
