| I was on the Navionics site this evening, looking to see if this new Hot Maps Platinum chip of theirs is compatible with my older Lowrance LCX-26cHD unit. I see they only list compatibility with today's Lowrance HDS units.
Anyone know the answer?

| The software isn't compatible with that generation of Lowrance. Unfortunately that is the way technology works. Now I don't know if a software update would take care of it, but my guess is Lowrance won't rewrite software for that generation of units, until they get the 3.0 software done for the HDS... | |
