| I thought this would be a cool post, what is the biggest muskie you have caught from a small acre lake, let's say a few hundred acres or less, if possible pics would be cool and maybe a story too. I have seen some real giant fish in some puddles so to speak. |

| Nice thread topic. Biggest one for me is 43" from a small lake in Ontario. Fish came from a lake that's 65 acres. It's connected to another lake that's 80 acres. Small lakes but a great numbers lake. It was caught on an M&G spinnerbait blk/org.

Location: Grand Rapids, MI | Ok, not mine, but our state record for Northern Strain Muskie was from a 409 acre lake. A touch over 49 lbs. I believe it was 52"? Don't quote me on that.
Oh, but mine is a 46"er from a 320 acre lake. Unless you count a 48.5"er from Webster. But that's a little bigger.

alot of the twin cities metro muskies fishery is built on small water,,nothing strange about big fish coming from small water especially if it has bullheads,,,metro tourney won twice with 50 inch fish from a lake less then 300 acres and the state record tiger is from a lake less then 200 acres with the former record from a lake less then 500 acres

It does seem like fish grow pretty big quickly when there is lots of bullheads don't it. Also it seems like on alot of small lakes the denstiy of fish is higher too than alot of muskie lakes that have a 1 fish average per acre or two. Keep up on them and you'll catch one of them eventually, at least that's what I'm hoping for lol |

Location: Medford, WI | Haha, I love the difference in what people consider a small lake...obviously differs on what region you are in and the fisherman/woman in general. For myself, I caught a two 46" and a 45" musky out of a 70 acre lake. As far as a little bigger lake, I got a 49.5" on about a 200 acre lake.
Cool thread.

46" in an 80 acre lake. and have seen legit 50" fish in here.
45" +/- (didn't get a good measurment) in a 200 acre lake but had on what I believe the biggest musky of my life.....after the hook set, really could not move or budge it and this fish destroyed the sucker in it's mouth.... too tight of a drag on my part, bent one hook 90 degrees. Never felt that type of power before or since.
Now a little larger lake of 350 acres plus, a 48 incher.
