That's awesome Steve. Anyone been to one of these before? I consider myself fairly well versed on my HDS and I just installed and rigged my LSS this past week...."well versed" but not an expert or guru. What are the "advanced" techniques? What's the boat control session? Dundee is about an hour from me but if it's worth going, I'm there. If it's just how to lay down waypoints and save routes, I may skip it. I know Doc is the man and you can always learn more, but who is this class geared to? Is this mainly just HDS or will he touch on LSS, which as of yet, I've not used and could use the schooling. Any advice before I drop $70 and drive an hour and give up a day of fishing?

Doc is the best, and will cover advanced techniques and much more. He will teach you things about those units you wouldn't otherwise learn.

I've spent some time on the water with Doc fishing and watching him map an area. If you can get there, go. You won't regret it.

Efly, I too feel that I'm pretty well versed on my Lowrances, but after being invited by Doc to attend one of his seminars last year at the NPAA meeting, I found it to be above and beyond what you pay for. I knew most of what Doc covered, but, there were some things that I either didn't have a clue about, found easier ways to do certain things, but also found a lot of neat little tricks that I had no clue you could do with the units.

I've got my HDS units on order now, if this seminar was in Wisconsin, I'd be there again, it's well worth it in my opinion, especially if your only an hour away!
