Subject: 2001 OPTI-MAX

Location: Duluth, MN		I'm looking at a 2001 620 with a 225 HP mercury opti-max on it. The motor has around 400 hrs on it.

I'm looking for as many honest opinions about this motor from people who have experience with this motor. Should I shy away, or is this model and year pretty dependable?

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin		Make sure it had all the required updates done.

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin		Take it to a Mercury dealer and have them put it on the computer. They will tell you if everything is done that needed to be done.
