Where's my serial number?

Subject: Where's my serial number?


Does anyone know where to look to find the serial number to my 2000 Merc 225 EFI? I took the cover off and found several numbers but nothing resembling a serial number......Thanks

Location: Stevens Point, WI		The number should be on the right side of the motor, starboard side of the boat. A tag should be right below your tilt and trim that should also be on the right side of the motor. You should not have to take the cowling off to find this.
