Location: MN | Any recommendations for lodges on one of these lakes. Looks like an ideal place to take the wife. I'd probably like not having water skiers and jet skiers too.

Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | My experience is that you'd be well served looking for places in the Presque Isle area. Many of the lakes have a "no jet ski" ordance and are smaller in size, keeping the water skiers/pleasure boaters to a minimum. Call Adam Johnson at Skyview Lodge to see if he has any available lake-side rentals for when you're planning on going. |

I assume you are inquiring about Lost Land, Teal and Ghost in the Hayward area. There are multiple resorts on both Lost Land and Teal. You can navigate the channel between the two and fish both lakes. It's been a few years since I have fished there but it had a nice population of low to mid 40 inch fish when I fished it. I wouldn't stay on Ghost, it seems to suffer from population/slow growth issues.
It is nice not having any water skiers and jet skiers out there. |

| We've stayed at Empire and Northland on Lost Land and were happy enough with both. Lost Land and Teal are both good numbers lakes, and though connected by a throughway, they are two very different lakes. You won’t have skiers, unless they're just being dragged along at 10 MPH. |

| Back o Beyond resort went condo quite awhile ago but they still rent the cabins, nice and quiet on the east side of teal lake. |

Location: Germantown, WI | If you are referring to Lost Land/Teal, they are both really beautiful lakes and fun to fish. They are very quiet, even during the summer and you feel like you have the lake to yourself many times. Teal has some nice islands to pull up on for picnic lunches as well. May not be the best musky waters, but i have caught a few, along with a ton of smaller northerns and largemouths. If you go, enjoy! |

| Here you go! I agree contact Adam Johnson at Skyview Logde or contact his brother Cal at http://www.northwoodsvacations.com. I have rented from Cal on numerous occasions and if you want a quiet place with great fishing check out Presque Isle. |

| the quite lakes are a great bunch of lakes to fish! there is great fishing for them for muskies, they used to be known as lakes to go get a bunch of fish in the mid to upper 30 inch range, now that has changed, there are alot of low to mid 40 inch fish in lost land and teal, and every year there is a few 50 inchers caught out of both of those lakes too. there are some good fish to be caught in these two lakes, and it actually seems like there are less people fishing it. another good place to stay is lost land lake lodge too.
